Dr. Rachel Piszczor is an Associate Professor and Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at Midwestern University. She has 10+ years of interdisciplinary experience working within the allied health disciplines, both clinically and in the education realm. Dr. Piszczor has specialized in both pediatric health psychology as well as behavioral sleep medicine across the lifespan. She has expanded her practice in sleep work to include both sleep health and overall wellness and self-care needs for interdisciplinary health professionals and graduate health care students. Dr. Piszczor regularly speaks to community, professional, and student groups about stress, burnout, wellness, self-care, promotion of self-compassion and resilience. During the very difficult past two years, Dr. Piszczor has conducted outreach specifically regarding the impact of the multiple pandemics on both graduate healthcare students as well as healthcare workers and other frontline workers.
