Description
It is estimated by the CDC that the incidence of sudden cardiac death in pediatrics is 1500 children and young adults under the age of 25 per per year. The main etiology of these events are hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, anomalous aortic origin of the coronary artery, and fatal arrhythmias. In certain cases, there are warning signs that can be evaluated and treated in order to prevent these tragic events.
