Description

Babies do weird things as their neurologic development transitions from reflex-based to voluntary movement. Because of their unique nervous system anatomy, medical concerns such as seizures, spasticity, and dystonia often present differently than in older children and are harder to ellicit on examination. In this talk, we will show examples via video of chief complaints of weird baby movements and "red flags" as well as reviewing the nuances of evaluation of infant tone and movement.
