Description
Hyperbilirubinemia is a common and potentially life-threatening condition if not appropriately managed. Infants at risk for complications from Hyperbilirubinemia may be encountered in a variety of settings including primary care, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine. This lecture will review the new guidelines produced by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2022. The goal of this presentation is to equip the PA with tools to manage and risk stratify the infant with hyperbilirubinemia promptly and appropriately.
